Tricks For Halloween Home Styling
by Becky Broome
Over the last few years, Halloween has become more popular in the U.K with more and more people taking influence from the States when decorating their homes and throwing themed parties.
So with that in mind, we have gathered together a few styling ideas to help you give your home a touch of sophisticated Halloween style.
Pumpkins
It wouldn’t be Halloween without pumpkins but why not try an alternative to carving? They can be painted to fit in with your current colour scheme or decorated with sequins or glitter. Try using miniature pumpkins in a variety of colours to create a unique table centrepiece. Be creative, pumpkins don’t have to be scary!
Decorations
Go for a ‘less is more’ approach with your decorations . Try using bunting on the fireplace or a simple black wreath to dress the front door.
Tableware
Serve your drinks in skull shaped glasses or use them to hold sweets for trick or treaters. They can even be used as candle holders to add a bit of atmospheric lighting to the room.
Halloween Cocktails
Serve up some Halloween themed cocktails or punch. Try this Witch’s Brew cocktail recipe from Pizzazzerie.
Pumpkin Recipes
Treat your guests to some seasonal pumpkin pie or try something a little bit different and bake a pumpkin cheesecake.
