Studio Production Assistants (full or part-time)

WHAT WE NEED IN A NUTSHELL

We’re looking for two full time Studio/Production Assistants to join our team. The positions are permanent to the right candidates, subject to a three month trial period. Successful candidates should be available to start in August.

You will be passionate about creating personalised products, with a meticulous eye for detail. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse selection of processes across a wide range of products. You must be able to work to tight deadlines and thrive in a fast paced environment. Joining a great team of like-minded creative individuals, you’ll play an important part in the growth of the brand.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS

Reporting to a Studio Supervisor, you will play a key role within the production and packing departments.

Some of your key responsibilities may include:

• Applying artwork to glassware
• Masking and etching glassware
• Cleaning and polishing glassware
• Quality control
• Gift wrapping
• Packing customer orders
• General administration and workshop duties
• Assisting with the day to day running of the business

Training will be provided.

Our normal hours of work are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch break. However, on the run up to Christmas the working hours will extend to meet demand but will not exceed twelve hours per day. You must also be available to work weekends when required, as much notice as possible will be given. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime are key elements for this role.

THE TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You have an interest in creative design and manufacture with a keen eye for the small details and want to be involved in an exciting brand. You possess the ability to work under pressure, in a fast paced environment, whilst still maintaining the high standards of quality that we require. You will have the customer at the front of your mind, producing and packing the perfect gift that you are proud to send to the customer. You’re happy to work as part of a wider team and are able to take instruction but also relish taking your own initiative. Highly organised, you’re able to juggle multiple projects and have the ability to work to given deadlines. You’re a good communicator who’s able to articulate ideas, opinions and issues clearly. You’re passionate about your role and take pride in your work.

THE KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE NEED

• A Level or equivalent qualifications
• An impeccable understanding of the English language including grammar and punctuation
• Strong manual production skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Creative design background
• Customer focused mindset
